Teri Garr - Young Frankenstein

Teri Garr (Deceased) was an American actress, comedian, and dancer known for her distinctive comic timing and memorable performances in film and television. Born Terry Ann Garr on December 11, 1944, in Lakewood, Ohio, she began her entertainment career as a dancer and appeared in several movies and television programs before becoming a prominent character actress. Garr earned widespread recognition for her role as Inga in Mel Brooks' comedy "Young Frankenstein" (1974), starring alongside Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, and Cloris Leachman. She also appeared in Steven Spielberg's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and played Sandy Lester in the hit comedy "Tootsie," a performance that earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
