(Deceased) Bonnie Franklin (January 6, 1944–March 1, 2013) was an American actress best known for playing divorced mother Ann Romano on the television comedy One Day at a Time. Her performance earned multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Franklin also appeared extensively on Broadway, in regional theater and on television throughout her career.
