Neil Sedaka

Neil Sedaka (born March 13, 1939) is an American singer, songwriter and pianist who became a major pop star during the late 1950s and early 1960s. His best-known recordings include “Oh! Carol,” “Calendar Girl,” “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do” and “Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen.” Sedaka later enjoyed a successful comeback in the 1970s and also wrote songs recorded by numerous other artists.
