Lulu - To Sir With Love

Lulu is a Scottish singer, actress, and television personality who became an international star during the 1960s. Born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie in Glasgow in 1948, she began performing professionally as a teenager and quickly became known for her powerful, soulful voice. She scored an early British hit with "Shout" in 1964, a high-energy recording that helped establish her as one of the leading young female singers of the era. Lulu achieved major international success with "To Sir with Love," the title song from the 1967 film in which she appeared alongside Sidney Poitier.
