Bobby Goldsboro - Voodoo Woman

Bobby Goldsboro is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and television personality best known for a series of pop and country hits during the 1960s and 1970s. Born in 1941 in Marianna, Florida, and raised in Alabama, he began his professional career as a guitarist in Roy Orbison's band before establishing himself as a solo recording artist. Goldsboro scored his biggest success in 1968 with "Honey," a sentimental ballad that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of the year's best-selling records. His other notable hits include "See the Funny Little Clown," "Little Things," "It's Too Late," "Autumn of My Life," and "Watching Scotty Grow." His recordings often combined pop, country, and easy-listening styles, with an emphasis on storytelling and emotional lyrics. In addition to performing, Goldsboro became a successful songwriter whose compositions were recorded by other artists.
