Jack Lemmon - The Odd Couple

Jack Lemmon (Deceased) was an American actor known for his remarkable ability to move effortlessly between comedy and serious drama. Born John Uhler Lemmon III on February 8, 1925, in Newton, Massachusetts, he became one of the most respected and popular performers of his generation. Lemmon worked frequently with director Billy Wilder and starred in several classic films, including "Some Like It Hot," "The Apartment," "Irma la Douce," "The Fortune Cookie," and "Avanti!" His nervous energy, expressive reactions, and natural comic timing made him especially effective at playing ordinary men caught in difficult or absurd situations. He also formed one of Hollywood's most memorable screen partnerships with Walter Matthau.
