The Hollyridge Strings was an American studio orchestra created for Capitol Records in the 1960s. Led initially by arranger and conductor Stu Phillips, the group became known for lush, easy-listening instrumental versions of contemporary pop and rock songs. Its successful albums included The Beatles Song Book, as well as collections devoted to the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, the Four Seasons, and Simon & Garfunkel.
