The Manzanilla Sound - Album

The Manzanilla Sound was a British easy-listening instrumental group associated with Welsh trumpeter, arranger, and bandleader Ray Davies—not the Kinks musician of the same name. The group specialized in polished brass-led arrangements of contemporary pop songs, film themes, and original compositions. Its albums included Make Mine Manzanilla, released in 1972, featuring versions of “Mammy Blue,” “Summer of ’42,” and “Never My Love.”
