Leslie Phillips (born January 28, 1962), now known professionally as Sam Phillips, is an American singer and songwriter who began her career recording contemporary Christian music in the 1980s. Her albums included Beyond Saturday Night, Dancing with Danger, and The Turning. She later adopted the name Sam Phillips and moved into alternative pop and rock, earning acclaim for albums such as Martinis & Bikinis and Fan Dance. She has also composed music for the television series Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
