Five Brothers - Album: Five Brothers (Jazz group)

Five Brothers was a West Coast jazz quintet led by trombonist Herbie Harper. The group featured Bob Enevoldsen on tenor saxophone and valve trombone, Don Overburg on guitar, Red Mitchell on bass, and Frank Capp on drums. Recorded in Los Angeles in 1955, the ensemble performed a cool-jazz mixture of standards and original compositions, including “King Porter Stomp,” “Alone Together,” “Don’t Buck It,” and “Juan Don.”
