Marjorie Lord - The Danny Thomas Show

Marjorie Lord (Deceased) was an American actress best known for portraying Kathy Williams on the classic television sitcom "The Danny Thomas Show," also known as "Make Room for Daddy." Born July 26, 1918, in San Francisco, California, Lord began her career in films during the 1930s and appeared in numerous motion pictures before becoming a familiar television performer. Her film credits included "Sherlock Holmes in Washington," "The Strange Mrs. Crane," and "The Lost Volcano." Lord achieved her greatest fame after joining "The Danny Thomas Show" as Kathy Williams, the second wife of Danny Williams, played by Danny Thomas. She remained a central cast member for many seasons and became closely identified with one of television's most popular family comedies of the 1950s and 1960s. She also made guest appearances on other television programs throughout her career. Marjorie Lord died on November 28, 2015, at age 97.
