Rick Wilson - NASCAR

Rick Wilson Rick Wilson is a retired American stock car racing driver who competed for many years in NASCAR’s top divisions. Born in Bartow, Florida, in 1953, Wilson began racing on short tracks before advancing into NASCAR competition. He became a regular competitor in what is now the NASCAR Cup Series during the 1980s and 1990s, driving for several teams and earning a reputation as a capable and dependable driver. Wilson competed in hundreds of NASCAR Cup races and recorded numerous top-ten finishes. One of his most memorable performances came in the 1988 Daytona 500, where he finished second to Bobby Allison. He also competed successfully in NASCAR’s Busch Series, now known as the Xfinity Series. Wilson was particularly associated with the No. 75 car during portions of his career. He drove the No. 75 Food Country USA car in NASCAR competition and won two Busch Series races while driving for Henderson Motorsports in 1989.
