Vicki Lawrence - The Carol Burnett Show

Vicki Lawrence (born March 26, 1949) is an American actress, comedian, and singer best known for her work on The Carol Burnett Show and for portraying the sharp-tongued Thelma “Mama” Harper on Mama’s Family. She also had a number-one pop hit in 1973 with “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.” Lawrence has continued performing the Mama character in stage shows and has appeared in television series including Hannah Montana, The Cool Kids, and Call Me Kat.
