Chad and Jeremy

Chad & Jeremy were a British folk-pop duo consisting of Chad Stuart (Deceased: December 10, 1941–December 20, 2020) and Jeremy Clyde (born March 22, 1941). Formed in London in the early 1960s, they became part of the British Invasion and were known for their soft vocal harmonies and acoustic sound. Their best-known recordings include “Yesterday’s Gone,” “Willow Weep for Me,” “Before and After,” and “A Summer Song.” The duo separated in 1968 but later reunited for recordings and concert appearances. Stuart also worked as an arranger and record producer, while Clyde developed a long career as a stage, television, and film actor.
