(Deceased) Billie Dove (May 14, 1903–December 31, 1997) was an American actress who became a popular leading lady during the silent-film era and the early years of sound movies. Known for her beauty and glamorous screen presence, she appeared in films including The Black Pirate, The American Beauty and Blondie of the Follies. Dove retired from acting in the early 1930s.
