(Deceased) Mike Connors (August 15, 1925–January 26, 2017) was an American actor best known for playing private investigator Joe Mannix in the television series Mannix. Born Krekor Ohanian, he also starred in the crime series Tightrope! and appeared in numerous films and television programs. Connors received several award nominations for Mannix and remained closely associated with the role throughout his career.
