Ferlin Husky

(Deceased) Ferlin Husky (December 3, 1925–March 17, 2011) was an American country singer and actor known for his smooth voice and versatile style. His best-known recordings include “Gone,” “Wings of a Dove” and “A Dear John Letter,” a duet with Jean Shepard. Husky also performed comedy under the name Simon Crum and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
