Clayton Moore - The Lone Ranger

(Deceased) Clayton Moore (September 14, 1914–December 28, 1999) was an American actor best known for portraying the masked Western hero in the television series The Lone Ranger. He played the role during most of the show’s run from 1949 to 1957 and became closely identified with the character throughout his life. Moore also appeared in numerous Western films and serials before and after the series.
