(Deceased) Alan Young (November 19, 1919–May 19, 2016) was a British-born Canadian-American actor, comedian and voice artist. He was best known for playing architect Wilbur Post on the television comedy Mister Ed. Young also became closely associated with Disney’s Scrooge McDuck, providing the character’s voice in numerous animated productions, including DuckTales and Mickey’s Christmas Carol.
