(Deceased) Madeline Kahn (born September 29, 1942 – died December 3, 1999) was an American actress and comedian celebrated for her distinctive voice, impeccable timing, and memorable performances in film, television, and theater. She received Academy Award nominations for Paper Moon and Blazing Saddles and also appeared in Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, Clue, and History of the World, Part I. Kahn was also an accomplished stage performer and won a Tony Award for the 1993 Broadway comedy The Sisters Rosensweig.
