(Deceased) Eli Wallach (born December 7, 1915 – died June 24, 2014) was an American actor known for his vivid character performances on stage, television, and film. He is especially remembered for playing Tuco in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Calvera in The Magnificent Seven, and Silva Vacarro in Baby Doll. Wallach enjoyed a career spanning more than six decades and received an Honorary Academy Award in recognition of his lasting contribution to motion pictures.
