Jamie Farr

Jamie Farr (born July 1, 1934) is an American actor and comedian best known for playing Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger on the long-running television series M*A*S*H. The character became famous for wearing women’s clothing in repeated attempts to obtain a psychiatric discharge, but later developed into a capable and respected company clerk. Farr also appeared in films such as The Blackboard Jungle, The Cannonball Run, and Cannonball Run II, and later starred in the M*A*S*H sequel series AfterMASH.
