Jack Elam

(Deceased) Jack Elam (November 13, 1920 – October 20, 2003) was an American character actor best known for his distinctive wandering eye and memorable portrayals of villains, gunfighters, and comic sidekicks. He appeared in numerous Westerns, including High Noon, Rawhide, The Man from Laramie, Rio Lobo, and Once Upon a Time in the West. Later in his career, Elam became known for humorous roles in films such as Support Your Local Sheriff!, The Cannonball Run, and its sequel. His unusual appearance and expressive acting made him one of Hollywood’s most recognizable character performers.
