(Deceased) Harry Carey Jr. (May 16, 1921 – December 27, 2012) was an American actor best known for his many roles in Western films and television programs. The son of silent-film star Harry Carey, he became a frequent member of director John Ford’s stock company and appeared in classics such as 3 Godfathers, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Wagon Master, Rio Grande and The Searchers. Carey also worked with actors including John Wayne and appeared in later films such as Tombstone and Back to the Future Part III.
