(Deceased) Vivian Blaine (November 21, 1921 – December 9, 1995) was an American actress and singer best known for originating the role of Miss Adelaide in the Broadway musical Guys and Dolls. She reprised the role in the 1955 film adaptation alongside Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. Blaine also appeared in films such as State Fair, Jitterbugs, and Three Little Girls in Blue, and later worked extensively in television and stage productions.
