(Deceased) René Auberjonois (June 1, 1940 – December 8, 2019) was an American actor and director known for his distinctive voice and wide-ranging work in television, film, and theater. He was best known for playing Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Clayton Endicott III on Benson, and attorney Paul Lewiston on Boston Legal. His film roles included Father Mulcahy in M*A*S*H and Roy Bagley in King Kong. Auberjonois was also an accomplished stage performer who won a Tony Award for the musical Coco and worked extensively as a voice actor.
