Donna Douglas

(Deceased) Donna Douglas (September 26, 1932 – January 1, 2015) was an American actress and singer best remembered as the animal-loving Elly May Clampett on the classic television comedy The Beverly Hillbillies, which aired from 1962 to 1971. She also appeared in films such as Career, Lover Come Back and Frankie and Johnny, in which she starred opposite Elvis Presley. After her acting career, Douglas worked as a gospel singer, inspirational speaker and author.
