Efrem Zimbalist Jr.

Efrem Zimbalist Jr. (Deceased; November 30, 1918 – May 2, 2014) was an American actor best known for starring as private detective Stuart “Stu” Bailey on 77 Sunset Strip and FBI inspector Lewis Erskine on The F.B.I. He also played the recurring character Dandy Jim Buckley on Maverick and later became well known as the voice of Alfred Pennyworth in Batman: The Animated Series and other DC animated productions. Zimbalist appeared in numerous films and television programs during a career spanning more than six decades and was the father of actress Stephanie Zimbalist.
