Tuesday Weld

Tuesday Weld, born August 27, 1943, is an American retired actress who began her career as a child performer. She gained early fame playing the beautiful and calculating Thalia Menninger, one of Dobie’s principal love interests, during the first season of the television comedy The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, later returning for guest appearances. Weld went on to earn acclaim for complex dramatic roles in films such as The Cincinnati Kid, Pretty Poison, Play It as It Lays, Looking for Mr. Goodbar, Thief, Once Upon a Time in America, and Falling Down. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Looking for Mr. Goodbar.
