Vera Ralston

Vera Ralston (Deceased; July 12, 1919 – February 9, 2003) was a Czech-American figure skater and actress who became a leading star at Republic Pictures during the 1940s and 1950s. Born Věra Helena Hrubá in Prague, she competed internationally as a figure skater before beginning her film career. Her notable movies include Dakota, The Fighting Kentuckian, The Flame, and Fair Wind to Java, and she frequently appeared in Westerns and adventure films alongside stars such as John Wayne.
