Susan Clark

Born March 8, 1943. Susan Clark is a Canadian actress best known for portraying Katherine Papadapolis on the television sitcom *Webster*, which aired from 1983 to 1989. She starred alongside her husband, former professional football player and actor Alex Karras, who played her television husband, George Papadapolis. Clark began her film career during the 1960s and appeared opposite Clint Eastwood in *Coogan’s Bluff*. Her other notable films include *Colossus: The Forbin Project*, *Valdez Is Coming*, *Night Moves*, *Airport 1975*, *The Apple Dumpling Gang* and *Porky’s*. She earned a Primetime Emmy Award for her portrayal of athlete Babe Didrikson Zaharias in the television movie *Babe*. Clark also received acclaim and an Emmy nomination for playing aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart in a 1976 television production. Known for her strong dramatic presence and versatility in both comedy and drama, Clark enjoyed a successful career in film and television spanning several decades.
