Evonne Goolagong Cawley (born July 31, 1951) is an Australian tennis legend who won seven Grand Slam singles titles during the 1970s and early 1980s. Known for her graceful playing style and athleticism, she captured the Wimbledon women’s singles championship in 1971 and again in 1980, becoming the first mother in the modern era to win the title. She remains one of Australia’s most celebrated athletes and an influential Indigenous sports figure.
