Lita Ford (born September 19, 1958) is an English-born American rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She first gained fame as lead guitarist for the pioneering all-female band The Runaways before launching a successful solo career. Ford became a major figure in 1980s hard rock with songs such as “Kiss Me Deadly” and the Ozzy Osbourne duet “Close My Eyes Forever.”
